Polaris HP S high-energy laser

  • Polaris HP S allows for high-energy laser therapy and biostimulation treatments. It combines the effects of both therapies, allowing for maximum effectiveness in treatment. The device has two laser modules with wavelengths of 808 and 980 nm (power 8 and 10 W), which can work in continuous, pulse or superpulse mode.

  • High-energy and biostimulation laser therapy device with 808/980 nm high-energy modules

  • High-energy laser therapy is one of the leading fields of physical therapy. Deep tissue penetration in a short period of time allows for very good therapeutic results, especially analgesic ones. Polaris HP S is used as a laser for rehabilitation.

  • The Polaris HP S high-energy laser allows for biostimulation and high-energy laser therapy treatments. The combination of these two therapies provides maximum treatment effectiveness. The laser therapy device has two laser modules with wavelengths of 808 and 980 nm (power 8 and 10 W), which can operate in continuous, pulse or superpulse mode, and the built-in two laser sources allow for peak power reaching 18 W in pulse mode.

  • We can therefore achieve a significant analgesic effect by activating the Wall and Melzack control gate. However, the maximum average power has been limited to 10 W. Polaris HP S also works with an innovative, patented DILA (Deep Intratissue Laser Adapter) focusing attachment, which allows the laser beam to be shaped in such a way as to compensate for power losses in superficial tissues, reducing the thermal effect in the skin and subcutaneous tissue. The device's equipment allows the use of two distance attachments, providing a spot with an area of 1 cm 2 and 5 cm 2 .

  • The laser therapy device supports all types of low-power applicators available in the ASTAR offer. There is an option to connect point probes, a scanner or a laser shower to the device. Thanks to this, the device can also be used in low-energy biostimulation laser therapy treatments.
  • Laser therapy treatments can be performed using the built-in encyclopedia containing a list of built-in programs with illustrations with a detailed description of the treatment methodology and with an indication of the application sites. In addition, the physiotherapist can create and save their own programs and sequences in the device's memory. The comfort of use is provided by a large, seven-inch graphic display with a touch panel.
